We had a wonderful 5 night stay in Umbria and loved staying at Agriturismo Fiordaliso. Lauren was very friendly and very helpful, with great communication on Airbnb. The best thing had to be the incredible view over the valley and across to Trevi over the pool (just like in the pictures). The amazing sunsets over the valley made this even more stunning, and it was perfect for fulfilling the ideal of Umbria’s rolling hills and beautiful hill top towns. The apartment was great and was very functional, very spacious for two people, and very clean. It is one of four adjoining apartments in the agriturismo (which I didn’t know when booking) but it felt pretty private as we hardly saw or noticed any neighbours and whenever we swam in the pool we had it all to ourselves which was perfect. This particular apartment is also the only one with a big floor-to-ceiling window which was great to appreciate the view. Trevi was a perfect base to stay in to be able to explore Umbria, as it is about 30mins-1h away from many famous towns (we visited Spoleto and Assisi, Gubbio and Orvieto, which are all well worth visiting). Many people didn’t speak much English within Trevi itself but they were very friendly, especially to people who tried their best with Italian. The walk into Trevi is very easy and quick (about ~20 mins down a wide path through the olive trees/fields) and definitely worth doing as Trevi was very pretty with a nice atmosphere and delicious, affordable, and authentic food. Being close enough to walk in and have dinner was also ideal to give the main driver a break from having to drive everywhere, a perk that many places I looked at in Umbria didn’t seem to have. The only thing I would say about our stay is that it did get very hot in the apartment in the evening, so I would suggest bringing lots of insect repellent if you want to leave the windows open, or be prepared pay for air conditioning (€10/day). But otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others! Thank you, Lauren! :-)

Soggiorno piacevole in un posto tranquillissimo immerso nel verde. Ottimo per una settimana di riposo. Bella piscina. Visuale sul promontorio di Trevi. Arredamento di qualità. Idem per l'elettrodomestico. Unica pecca : la mancanza di zanzariere alle finestre. Titolari non invadenti e discreti. Si consiglia di arrivare in salita per potere curvare meglio a l'entrata de l'agriturismo. Aria condizionata non inclusa nel prezzo. Nessun limiti di orario per la piscina 😀 che viene pulita tutte le mattine alle 7. Consigliato.
