The pictures shown are a bit different as now there are more plants in the garden surrounded by a wonderful mountain and rice field view. Don’t get confused with Coco Palm 1 which is another property found around 4km away. I strongly suggest Coco Palm 2. The place is away from crowded streets. It’s walking distance (1km) to the beach, cafes and restaurants. It is quiet except for the nice bird and cricket background "noise" and close to Mt. Minh Dam for hiking. The rooms are equipped with new and quiet AC and strong internet connection. Some bathroom angles with cobwebs and dusty wardrobe doors and wall fans could have been cleaner. I have asked for the wall fan to be cleaned and the caretaker was able to respond within a reasonable amount of time. Ms. Chau, the house caretaker, was very helpful. She cooks well. Her presence ensured us a great homestay experience. Overall, considering the affordable price, cool January weather, peaceful location and friendly staff, it was a great holiday experience. I would consider going back in the future. SUGGESTIONS to help meet the standards: providing trash bins and toiletries from the start (the host was able to respond to this request within a reasonable time); bigger and thicker size towels, pillows and blankets; extra-chair and bed side table (aside from the ones provided already); keys to lock the wardrobe; cable or local TV signals (there is TV but no reception); curtains where they are missing.
