Can is the best host I ever met! Helpful, friendly, honest and an interesting person overall. The bed was very comfortable, I’ve had some great sleep. Felt very safe, welcomed and comfy. Very grateful for this humbling experience

He was an exeptional host. He is a nice, friendly and warm person. He helps you whenever you ask, he'll defenitely solve any problem you might have with haste. Quite nice place to stay for short to medium time. I appriciate his help. I recommend it.

Can is great guy. The listing says air conditioner but no air conditioner (in my room was 32-34 celsius) That should be changed and is misleading. Overall, it was ok but hot. It is an interesting place. It is on the side of a mountain about 500m from beach. The beach is a quiet area. Not one of the popular Izmir beaches .... good to relax and sit. The apartment is a two bedroom with one room setup for baby. I did not meet wife or baby and he slept in living area. He is an artist so it is very unique and lots of interesting things around the house. There is good internet (for turkey) and it is setup for ethernet and wifi. I can recommend it for a short term stay.

Can is a nice guy. The location is on side of a mountain so be prepared to walk up and down, but it is close to the beach. Apartment is on first floor and easy to find. No air conditioner so this should be noted.

Well I ended up thinking I should've stayed in Izmir longer! What a lovely family with the cutest 9 month old girl (very well behaved, she didn't wake me up once), a very chill place. The room is at the opposite end of the flat to the living room and kitchen so it really is a "private" room, complete with it's own balcony and very clean and comfortable. I would hang out in the lounge with everyone anyway, cool people, and Can speaks really good English. As for location, it's fairly central, a short walk to the seaside where you can rent bicycles if you need and close to public transport. Oh and Meric, you're a great cook :)
