The accommodation itself is very dated. It has this damp and mouldy smell. Do not leave doors or windows for a long time as insects will invite themselves in. This is my 1st Airbnb unsatisfactory stay. Not worth for what I paid. The best part is, the host was helpful and responsive .

House is as advertised in the photos. Location is fantastic. When we arrived, there was a serious ant problem in the kitchen. Typically things like this don’t bother me as it’s an easy fix - but a terrible first impression on our holiday. It was caused by someone laying a plastic slip with bait on it to kill ants - but they hadn’t disposed of it and the whole kitchen was infested. After trying to contact Bachcare to give them a heads up I left no response. The BBQ works great and the balcony is lovely, though. Would stay again if they hadn’t failed to respond to me. If it weren’t for this it would be 4 stars.

Location was great, views excellent but this is definitely a basic bach, which we are fine with but we were disappointed in the state of the cleanliness to be honest, it needs a really good “spring clean” under couches beds on top fridges. We found blood in the freezer from someone’s meat, crumbs etc in cupboards, bugs on the top of the fridge. The pricing is enough that this should be a minimum. Had to rewash every plate etc too. The downstairs rooms needed a good airing and freshen up. Not left with enough fish wash liquid or toilet paper, need to change the kitchen cloths with each guest. The rail on the decks are loose so not safe. Positives, bed upstairs very comfortable and fresh linen, and great views and privacy.

Amazing place - Bad service. I will start with the positives first; this bach was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views, convenient location and everything was clean and tidy. The negatives, however, was the complete lack of communication with bachcare. We struggled to find the driveway as the house is quite hidden and has no clear letterbox. When we arrived the key was not where it was stated to be (we didn't have a key the entire time). and calling bachcare was impossible, always went to voicemail. I would highly recommend this bach once bachcare picks up the slack or stops managing it. Beautiful place.
