I spent a month in Addis and Michael was a fantastic host all the time, he was friendly, responsive and checked in a couple times to make sure everything was fine. The place is well located and Michael is available in case you have any question or need help with anything.

Had a lovely stay at the home of Michael and Yirgalem! I was in Ethiopia for one month and felt very lucky to be able to stay at a family home. You have a private bedroom + living room and you share the kitchen and bathroom with the family. If I had questions I could always message Michael and he would respond right away with helpful recommendations. While I was there, it was also the Ethiopian New Year and I was invited by the family to join them for delicious Doro Wat and coffee! Michael and Yirgalem were often very busy but still went out of their way to have a little chat and inform how I was doing. Really enjoyed my time here and hope to visit again!

I went at Micheal' guest house after a deception in other house too far and it were a pleasure. The room is quite big and clean, in a safe neighborhood, near lot of restaurants and taxis easily get to it. The only little issue was with the bathroom (external & shared) because of the cold as it's rainy season. Micheal is really reactive and all the team & family is so kind. I was glad to be there. I recommend if you want to discover Addis in your own way.
