Spring is in the air, the daffodils are blooming and the cattle will be back soon! This barn has been converted to a delightful, cozy farm house where guest come not only for the stay but also for the experience! It’s been said “there’s a bit of magic in the air” as you meander the long wooded drive through our private 33 acres to the house where our horse “Hammer” greets you upon arrival! This is the perfect place to call your home away from home. The Farm House has two master bedrooms, each with comfy Queen beds and two large full bathrooms. One bedroom is located on the main floor. The main floor bathroom has a double vanity, walk in tile shower and an antique claw foot tub, perfect for soaking or bubble baths! The upstairs bedroom and bathroom have high ceilings and skylights. The bedroom closes off with double pocket doors for privacy. The en-suite bath has a large single vanity and tub/shower combo. The great room has an open floor plan and two story ceilings with skylights. The living area has a wood burning stove and a large comfy sectional sofa, while not a pull-out/sleeper…still large enough for an extra guest or two to sleep on comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials for preparing meals at home. The kitchen includes a Keurig, a regular coffee maker and most other small appliances. It has a dishwasher, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a full size oven/ range. The kitchen island has seating for three. There is a separate dinning/sun room surrounded by large windows and a farm house dining table with seating for six. The perfect spot to enjoy your meals while watching the horse and cows. There is also a flip top table that opens to seat four guest for dinner or games. You can also enjoy dining alfresco on the covered patio and at the barn or just sit and rock! You enter the house through the mud room which has a front loading washer and dryer, built in ironing board and coat closet. There is a large pantry with plenty of storage for the things you bring along with you. If you keep walking through the pantry you will enter a cozy den that is perfect for relaxing to watch movies or sneak in a nap! Outside you will find a gas grill for summer cook outs or just anytime grilling out! There’s a golf cart for your convenience and a fire pit with plenty of firewood for s’mores or just to enjoy the cool evenings in the mountains of Western North Carolina!
