The best part about this property is location. The parking lot in front of the unit is adjacent to one of the Green slopes/lifts, which makes it super convenient for multi-day guests. The hosts were responsive and procedural instructions were clear. Remote check in/out was painless. Decor and furnishings were sparse, and lacked the cozy cabin feel of other, similarly-priced units that we’ve stayed at, but that was ultimately not the most important thing for us (location/convenience was). There is a washer/dryer which I think is crucial for multi-day skiing to dry gloves and socks, etc. The one knock is that this unit does NOT provide any linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels). To be fair, they DO specify as such in the description, but it’s easy to miss for guests booking via the mobile app. Lack of linens was inconvenient for us, as we were coming from afar, but we did manage to track some down at a local dollar store. Blankets and pillows were…well-used, so you’ll def want linens.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your vacation home. It was such a comfortable place for John and I. The bed was super comfortable and the sleeping area was wonderfully dark. The area around Whitetail is beautiful and there is a great restaurant in Berkeley Spring, WV called Lot 12. Linda

Pretty bare bones, but it has what you'll need for a quick trip. Bring your own food, linens, towel, soap and anything you particularly want. There are plates, bowls, basic cooking supplies and wine/beer openers. No groceries or restaurants at the resort in the off season. The location is amazing, right at the lift to the bunny slopes. It was a great place for a quick getaway out of the city. The best part was hiking up onto the slopes for fresh air and quiet = heavenly solitude! Thank you to the hosts for helping me into the condo when I got there!

Our family had a lovely time staying at Whitetail Resort for a long weekend. The unit was clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed, and the pool access was especially nice. The host's communication and directions were excellent. The back of the unit is literally a stone's throw from the ski chairlifts. However, since we were there in Spring, we instead went hiking around the beautiful state parks that surround the resort. We would recommend Whitetail Mountain.
