Stayed here for a last minute long weekend gateaway with family, including my 1 year old son and 2 dogs. Location very good for exploring Blaenavon World Heritage Site, Sugarloaf, Pig Pit etc. It was slightly frustrating to find upon arrival that despite a microwave being listed, it wasn’t present however this was remedied very quickly by the agent agreeing to reimburse me if I purchased one, which I did. In all, it was a lovely break away, the beds were clean and comfy, the kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the wood burner (although a welcome bundle of wood to start us off would have been nice!)

Truly fantastic cottage in a lovely setting. It has all the amenities you might need, warm, clean and located near to some beautiful walks which are detailed in a helpful folder provided by the host. There is a very nearby stream with water falls or you can very quickly find yourself in what feels like the middle of no where in the hills and small mountains. The main bedroom also looks out at a paddock with livestock which is particular nice in the morning. The summerhouse would be amazing in warmer months I can imagine. The location would be best with a car due to location from shopping centers. But we arrived and departed via Abergavenny train station + Taxi and were able to get some groceries delivered by delivery app Uber Eats. I would recommend this AirBnb to friends and could find myself coming back.

Very clean and comfortable cottage that has a well stocked kitchen in a very beautiful part of Wales with great walking opportunities around (very hilly). The backyard and summer house are really lovely. The washer and tumble dryer are great, although I will note that there is no automatic dishwasher as implied by the listing description. On a down note -- and no fault of the owners of the cottage -- the Jolly Colliers which is a fantastic pub in walking distance suffered a major fire just before we arrived. Luckily no one was hurt and I understand the pub will be reopened (hopefully by the end of this year). However, this was the only place to eat for several miles and there is not much to do in Llanelly Hill with it closed. Great communication from the management company.
