We only stayed 2/4 nights we booked. We were woken up to a strange noise that sounded like it was under the bed & then from the kitchen. It was a mouse & noticed all of our snacks had been chewed through & drug under the counters in the kitchen. SO’s backpack had a hole chewed into it, had to throw away. It drug our snacks under the small refrigerator, making it hard to retrieve. Messaged the host, she replied very quickly & apologized. We cleaned up as much as we could get, later she said we didn’t clean it up. We didn’t feel comfortable, we left & found a hotel. Host offered to check it out in the morning. It was an exhausting day & this added to it so I didn’t check my messages till the AM. Asked for a partial refund, she said it was ridiculous for wanting 2 nights. Looking back at reviews, 2 weeks before us had a problem with mice. We felt that our concerns for our health & safety weren’t being considered & that we were “something else” by wanting some money back.

Spent two nights at Amanda and Brian's place and it was a very beautiful setting. Everything was nice and tidy and the hosts were very helpful. It was also good to have Netflix available as well as not being too far from central London either. The only issue which I noticed was that after bathing, there were small insects near the bath, but I was guessing that this is due to humidity as well as also being located in the countryside which I didn't mind too much. We did however have a little mouse sleepover somewhere under the kitchen cabinets who liked digging for gold in the dustbin during the last night. Again, this is probably due to it being located in the countryside. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would consider returning.

Exactly as advertised. Great hosts who are happy to help or to leave you in peace. The property is exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and very well located.
