Rachel & John’s tree house is exactly as listed. A beautiful drive through the Adirondack mountains takes you to their little piece of tranquility. The walk into the tree house is easily navigated on foot with a well groomed path. The tree house itself is charming and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the birds and other animals. We had a couple of visitors in the shape of a red squirrel and chipmunk and a big toad!!! Communication with Rachel and John was very easy. Up until the day we arrived for our stay, they reached out to make sure we were prepared for the changing weather in the mountains. Lucky for us, we experienced unseasonably warm weather. But still enjoyed the outdoor Chimenea with plenty of fire wood provided. The outdoor kitchen was great!!! We made meals together on the grill and had plenty of utensils and cooking materials. We had planned to venture into Lake Placid for a day, but ended up loving our little camp so much that we didn’t want to leave. Rachel and John knew our stay was a special occasion and were more than accommodating to us. Their tree house will forever be a memory where we got engaged!!! And a place we will return to!!! We can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful stay!!!

One of my favorite airbnbs! Such a cozy treehouse, well-built. We loved that it was secluded in the woods. Great communication from hosts, clean, great value, comfy bed. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at John & Rachel’s Treehouse. It’s got the basic amenities for an off grid escape from life. Secluded in peaceful nature yet close enough to plenty of hiking and attractions. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.
