Harbor Hill is a spacious (2720 sq ft), elegant home in Harbor Beach Michigan, just 1 block from beach & 2 blocks from town. Built in 1910, this unique home is cozy and fun. All bedrooms are upstairs (2 offer lake views). Surrounded by farms, this charming factory town offers the beach, fishing, golf, restaurants, & tours of the historic lighthouse. Perfect for a vacation or extra housing for weddings and reunions, the house sleeps 6-8. Two small families vacationing together is also ideal. The varieties of beautiful, rich woods on the floors, walls, and pocket doors offer a unique, luxurious feel that takes you back in time and gives you an appreciation for genuine craftsmanship. That is contrasted with bright colors of furnishings and rugs, to bring an uplifting joy to the space. The downstairs features contemporary décor and a modern kitchen and family room, while the upstairs bedrooms have a cozy, traditional Michigan cottage look with quilts and antiques. This solid, stately home was built to last! Being up on a hill and overlooking the rooftops and Lake Huron makes the experience of this house extra special.

Charming older home a block from the Harbor Beach public beach, pier and playground for kids. Lots of space for the 8 of us and the home comes fully stocked with lots of extra kitchen supplies for cooking. Owner replies quickly to communication. The home does have some lovely furnishings and glass objects which we did put away during our visit due to three young toddlers with us. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet the traffic was on M 25.
Laura was very responsive and a great host. Her home is tastefully decorated, and with so many thoughtful extras. The spacious home gave everyone plenty of room. We appreciated being only a block from the public beach ... with a nice play structure and even a snack bar (with real food options).
Awesome. Simply awesome. Gorgeous property. Every little detail taken into account. Laura was communicative and kind and generous from first moment of booking to last of check out. Only heads up is actually a heads DOWN for taller people—the house was built many years ago, so anyone over six foot just wants to duck going up and down the stairs and through a few of the doorways. Couple of our taller fellas clocked their heads a couple times. Lesson learned real quick! :) But don’t let that deter you. Grab some family or friends and book this place and enjoy the sunrise and easy walks to beach and downtown, or just hang out in the house or on the porch. Can’t go wrong.
We loved our stay here. The home is absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. It was lovely to be able to quickly be right at the pier and enjoy the lake views. We felt very safe there. The hosts are great communicators and are very kind. We will treasure the great memories we made during our vacation here in the comfort of this amazing home. Highly recommend!

The house is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The beach and large public dock is a block away. It is a short walk into town where you can find an old fashioned bakery, mom and pop grocery stores and pharmacy, and Smalleys Bar and Grill. The architecture in town is quaint and there is a small community movie theater and library, as well as several churches. There is also a walk-in clinic and small community hospital a block away from the house. The town also offers museums and you can schedule a tour of the famous Harbor Beach Lighthouse.
Walking distance to beach and town. Bicycle paths. Short drive to attractions.
