While our studio, like many places in Tahoe, does not have air conditioning, the mild climate ensures a naturally comfortable atmosphere, complemented by the invigorating mountain air. Please note that we don't have an on-site office, and inquiries may not be addressed after 9:00 pm, embracing the charm of a lodge rather than a 24-hour hotel. Very enjoyable experience! I was alone as a woman and felt safe
Exactly what we needed! Perfect place to stay the night in South Lake Tahoe. Very peaceful and surrounded by trees. Walking distance to a few restaurants/bars and only a short drive to a ton of hiking trails. Would recommend to anyone passing through and needing a place to stay.
Sarah and Shahar seemed nice, but this place is absolutely horrible. Out of place floorboards, the worst pillows I’ve ever used, poorly maintained bathroom, and a smell of cigarette smoke that make even breathing difficult. I do not recommend this room - find somewhere else!!
We absolutely loved this stay! My boyfriend and I checked in on Saturday, 2 hours early might I add! I just texted the hosts and asked if it was available for early check in and they were happy to accommodate. The TV in the room was big enough and connected to regular cable, but we managed to plug in my computer with the HDMI port and stream movies; on their fast wifi!! We had no problems keeping the room warm, with both an in room thermostat controlled fire heater and a portable heater. The host was so kind and gave us recommendations as to where we should shore fish around the area! The location really is a perfect spot; surrounded by thrift stores, restaurants, gas stations..but the Washoe is on the outskirts of it, so you don’t encounter the constant hustle and bustle of where it’s at. The barbecue place two doors down is DELICIOUS with decent prices and really friendly staff; I had a sandwich and a cocktail while my boyfriend had a double meat entree and a soda for under $100!
The bedside lamp didn’t work and there was trash left in the toilet. Other than that, great stay.
