this location and host deserve their 5 star rating. the cherry springs location can't be beat and it's a beautiful, spacious and well appointed home. everything was clean and well maintained and there was a ton of communication and signage to help make the most of the house and it's amenities. unfortunately the well pump broke literally as we arrived and being that we were here Easter weekend, it was not fixable during our short stay. James, the host, and his maintenance person were very attentive in trying to fix the problem and when it turned it to be unfixable this weekend, brought a barrel of water for us to use for the bathrooms. to make up for the problem, James returned the two nights base fees unprompted which I thought was completely fair and we made the most of "roughing it 😂"for a couple of days and had a great time visiting PAs Grand Canyon and seeing the stars in Cherry Springs. This was freak maintenance issue and I would (and plan to) absolutely rent again

Two families staying for star gazing. Weather didn’t cooperate but between the yard, campfire, large dining room table and covered porch we had a wonderful weekend. Plenty of sleeping space, wood furnace worked very well. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

This cabin is a great getaway to see the stars at cherry springs! Unfortunately, during our stay we couldn't see any stars as it was cloudy and rained, but that can't be helped. Regardless, it was exactly as described and matched the photos. My friends and I had a great time relaxing and playing games for the weekend. We definitely all want to return, with (hopefully) better weather! Thanks again, James!

The place was so amazing it was everything a more! James was a great at answering any questions I had the house was Awsome! Just a great house with a great host! We are already looking when we can go back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND there’s nothing disappointing about his place! Thank you from our family for letting us stay we will definitely be back soon!!!!!!! We went to the Star Gazer cabin to watch the meteor shower. The location is perfect for that — no need to go to the park next door. Cabin cozy and had everything we needed. Unfortunately it snowed unexpectedly and we felt we needed to leave early to have safe roads. We left after one night rather than two. James is a great host! Without asking, he refunded the cost of the night we didn’t use. Incredibly kind. We would love to come back to this adorable cabin. Also it was very easy to get to (which we were surprised by).
