A perfect place for a family gathering of 12, with lots of things to do for kids, teens and adults. John was very responsive and helpful.

we had a wonderful Easter weekend as a family of 11 staying at this wonderful home. Ages from 18 to 82yrs and all loved it places to sit and chill out for the older ones and the pool table and chess was a hit with the younger ones. celebrating 18th birthday and a 8oth birthday. Although tucked away in a secluded spot it was easy to find given the instructions that John sends. The kitchen is well equipped and we found that cooking for 11 people went smoothly as the kitchen is big enough for a few of us to be in doing different jobs. lovely to have the large dinning table where we shared breakfast and dinner as a family , also to play a few games of scrabble! WiFi in the play room was brilliant for my son who is autistic and loves his tablet with his games on keeping him very happy and such a large room he was able to move around dancing to his tunes no problem. The only downside was the hot tub had a leak so we didn't use that which was a disappointment to the youngsters.

John’s house is amazing, huge and full of surprises! Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and everything needed for a winters stay. We didn’t manage to get the hot tub heated enough to go in - recommend trying to start the fire really early in the afternoon for an evening dip. Despite this we really enjoyed all the house and surroundings had to offer.

This property is amazing! It’s exactly what you want for a weekend getaway. Came to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was truly perfect. Loads of space so people don’t feel overcrowded but also really great communal areas to play games, relax, read etc. There is also a tesco within 10 min of the property which is quite handy for getting food and supplies. John was great to work with and we would definitely stay again.
