Beautiful and peaceful location in the Burraboi area. Place could do with some maintenance and some further renovations.

This was a very lovely peaceful home - true farm stay. The location was beautiful and peaceful, watching and listening to the cows was a treat as was waking up to a beautiful sunrise. Although this was a farm stay, and so we were not expecting the Ritz, there were a few things that could be improved. The bathroom was very unclean. The oven was filthy and greasy, and so when trying to bake dinner we filled the home with smoke. There was only one very small lounge (2 seater) in the living area, so it was not possible for us to comfortably sit in there together.

We loved staying in Hayley’s beautiful home! Very comfortable and peaceful. She also brought us some fresh meat from her butchery!

Nice place to stay if you come prepared. House was clean and had basic amenties. Mozzies flies spiders everywhere as expected for where it is. Its in the middle of nowhere. No hot water and no locks on the toilet with 2 entries, for us it was bit of an issue. Coming in from NSW side you have 30kms of dirt road, from VIC side about 10 kms. Get there before dark else if you hit a roo or get bogged, good luck. We saw stunning sky full of stars at night. Communication was good.

This was our second stay at Hayley’s place, such a peaceful, serene location in a comfortable house. Once again we enjoyed a delicious dinner of Hayley’s local meats on the covered deck whilst watching the cattle roam the fields outside. You feel like you are the only people for miles and highlights of the stay include watching the gorgeous swallows nesting under the eves as they swoop back and forth, as well as viewing the bright night stars after a gorgeous sunset. Each time we come we wish we could stay longer! Hayley is a super helpful host, and we would recommend this off-grid farm stay for anyone / families looking for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle.
