Irene is a great communicator. Her property is located within walking distance of central Koror. The unit is a basic one bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen. Everything was very clean and sanitized. Great stay and great location.

Accommodations are exactly as described and pictured. Location was very convenient and property felt very safe and secure. There was a roof leak on our first day and Irene was very responsive, made sure repairs were made promptly, and it did not impact our stay at all. The only negative to our stay was that due to some previous issues with local renters, they do not allow local visitors that are not part of the rental party. This was quite disappointing as we were there to visit family who were not allowed to visit us inside the property, only in the outdoor areas. Though I understand the need to protect your property, it should be noted that if you intend to stay here, be advised your local family and friends will not be welcome.

I loved staying at Irene’s apartment. In my opinion it’s a much better option than a hotel room in Palau a comparable price. She has a FULLY equipped kitchen with all the utensils and toaster, blender, and kettle. Dining area large enough for 4. The apartment is on a rather busy road but the bedroom is separated from the road side by the kitchen /living room which provides for a noiseless, good sleep. The apartment is at one end of Koror town and it’s about 1.8 to the other side of town - so everything (restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, massage, etc..) is easily at walkable distances. For USD30 Irene can arrange airport pick up. My driver dropped by an ATM ( there is nothing at the airport) and grocery store which was extremely convenient. There is a drinking water tap with a singular 0.1 micron filter - or pick up water at the grocery store - there is a Rainbow Mart 100m on Main Street. A recommended place to stay in Palau. A local entrepreneur at heart, I am the host for both Meda House (vacation home) and Meda Terrace (apartment units) located in Koror, Palau, a small island nation situated amid the Pacific Ocean. Palau was the Host for the 7th Our Oceans Conference 2020 (August) which due to the COVID pandemic was postponed and then successfully held in Koror, Palau, during mid-April 2022. I am your direct connection to all the positive and wonderful things to know and to do in Palau. And it is indeed my pleasure to provide cozy and friendly accommodations along with natural island hospitality for my guests. Our properties are family-owned and operated; we are proud to show our guests what Palau's culture is like and how the beautiful, pristine paradise can also be both a professional and fun place for travelers to explore and create memories of their personal adventures.
