Spacious one-bedroom apartment with view of Roman courtyard located in the town center. One bedroom with king size bed. Spacious living room with large television, a small closet to hang clothes, and a magnificent chimney that dates from the 1500's. Large dining table that can be used as a work space. Small but fully equipped kitchen including: washer, dryer, refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, tea kettle and coffee machine. Lots of cooking utensils. Bathroom with tub and shower and a separate toilet room.

It's hard to imagine a more interesting location and welcome stay than what Patricia provided. Our stay in Sarlat was among the finest travel experiences we've had. We were made welcome by a fine host who made herself available, even while she was traveling herself, giving restaurant recommendations and day trip advice. The apartment was so charming, down to the towels and snacks.
Thank you to Patricia for your good communication and such a helpful set up of the apartment. We had everything we needed and more. Location is excellent and close to everything you will want to see. I would recommend for others to stay.
Cannot say enough about The Blue Lily. It was INCREDIBLE. It is immaculate, and Patricia set it up with more amenities (coffee, sugar, jams, crackers, towels, paper products, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc) than any other airbnb I’ve stayed at. Her welcome book had tons of information, and her restaurant recs were phenomenal. My friend & I ate at a 2 Michelin star in Bordeaux, and L’Adresse that she rec’d was right up there in terms of food quality. Sarlat is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and will definitely be back to stay at the Blue Lily!
If you are looking for a perfect location in the center of the village, this is it. Patricia is a great host, very responsive and with good instructions and recommendations. We loved walking out the door and being in the middle of the Saturday market, steps away from numerous restaurants, and feeling like we had immersed ourselves in a medieval world. The space is beautifully decorated, and Patricia thought of every little detail. Seriously, if we thought we needed something, it was there. I can’t recommend this place enough.
One of the best places we have stayed in our two months of travel through Europe. Patricia was wonderful and gave us great recommendations. The place is immaculate and has so many thoughtful touches for travelers even some yummy gifts! The location is incredible and allows you to immerse yourself in this beautiful medieval city. 5 stars on every level!

The apartment is located right in the town center. There are a lot of events during high season. We have live entertainment: mimes, street musicians, theatre presentations, occasional concerts, etc. throughout the summer.
You will be living like a "local" when you stay in my apartment!
During the summer months it can get noisy. I provide earplugs for each guest. The building is an "historical monument" therefore there are lots of rules to follow. I applied for permission to install double-pane windows but was refused by the "Architect de France" who oversees government regulations. Please understand that I cannot control the noise of the city and that I do everything I can to make your stay a comfortable one. :)
You can walk everywhere and see many sights while in Sarlat. During the summer months the Tourist Office provides transportation to several sites.
The train station is a 20 minute walk to the center. We have local buses and a major bus stop is located just a three-minute walk from the apartment. You can also catch buses at the train station.
I have two very reliable taxi services that I recommend. One of them also offers guided tours and speaks English. You must reserve in advance.
* We do not have Uber in Sarlat.
