When we arrived, it looked clean but then we found hair in the drawers and a broken jewelry chain in the bed. It seems that the frame of the bed doesn’t get cleaned so it collects dust and hair that attaches to the tucked in comforter so if you untuck it, you see the dirt on the comforter. We ended up buying our own set of sheets and cleaned the bed frame to solve that problem. We also cleaned the entire apartment including all drawers and cabinets and the bathroom. They do provide some cooking utensils like a pot and pan and spatulas. They had spoons, forks, plates, cups, and bowls. They also had a very small container of dish soap. I didn’t feel particularly excited to use the pots and pans or cooking utensils as they had residue even after I washed them. A bonus would’ve been if it had a dishwasher, but sadly it does not. The furniture in the pictures is not the furniture in the room. The bed in the room was white and had a much smaller headboard. The chair and mirror were not in the room at all. The little table and two chairs also are different. We had dark gray ones that are shaped completely different. The table that they have is probably the most uncomfortable table I’ve ever sat at. The chairs cut off your leg circulation since there is no foot rest bar and your feet have to dangle. The dresser was white and bigger than the one in the pictures. The bed was okay comfort-wise. It did have to plugs next to it which were useful. The closet was very small and if you bring coats, they will take up almost all of it. The drawers did help and fit all of our clothes. The window heats up the room if the sun is shining through but the room had two AC units (one in room one in kitchen) that worked amazingly. The bathroom is modern, again very little storage area since the apartment is small. I had to store my makeup/hair stuff in my drawers outside. They did provide us with one toilet paper roll, very small hand soap, and very small shampoo. Overall, it was modern. The tv wasn’t compatible with airplay which was unfortunate, and I did see that a lot of people had roku’s in the building. The building was absolutely fantastic. It had a very clean laundry room and nice elevator. It also had a double door entry and video doorman which made everything feel extra safe. The street it was on was very quiet, yet there was great restaurants less than a block away. The walk to the subway is about two long blocks away. The huge window looks really nice but it gets absolutely Overall I rate it three stars for convenience, modernity, and safety. The cleanliness brings it down a star. Another star is lost because it is not soundproof whatsoever. I could hear everyone’s conversations, coughs, and sneezes. I could hear the elevator, neighbors unlocking their doors, etc. They should definitely try and lower the volume of the Yale electric door locks as everyone on the floor can hear every key you press. I chalked it up to NYC apartments while I was there but since my stay I’ve moved into my permanent NYC apartment and I can’t hear a peep from my neighbors. We didn’t have to contact the host for much other than a request for early check in which was denied. The apartment served its purpose, and we would probably stay again.

Overall had a great stay. Good location and clean unit. The layout wasn’t exactly the same as the picture (no single sofa and dressing mirror) and it would be nicer to have a desk and a chair in the living area.

I had a great stay at Jennifers. The check in process was very simple and everything was explained thoroughly. The apartment is in a great location and was a lovely home to stay in for a month.

The place is conveniently located and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall I enjoyed my stay but the place misses basic utilities such as a vacuum cleaner, a spot to hang your clothes, a proper frying pan, and day to day things. While you have everything you need the room is pretty basic and would need some love.
