Amazing apartment at a great location! Takes 15-30 mins to get to any point of Manhattan. Ken was also super helpful, thanks for hosting us!

This apartment was perfect for our needs, and the Furnished Quarters team was very quick to respond to our requests. When we arrived, the apartment was in a bit of a shabby condition and the bed was a little stiff, but the FQ team got out a cleaning person and a replacement bed ASAP! They truly went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. On top of that the location can't be beat! We enjoyed walking our dog in the nearby Carl Shurz park, and had plenty of pastries from the nearby cafe. Our only complaint is that the apartment runs somewhat hot, but thankfully Furnished Quarters brought us some fans to alleviate the issue. All in all, we found the price a bit steep for how basic the apartment is, but if you're in need of a temporary place in the area I'd still recommend it due to the excellent service we received!

It’s a spacious two bedroom/two bath apartment in a great location. Perfect choice for an extended (business,school,etc.) stay. I found the mattresses too firm and Ken delivered foam toppers. These helped some. The street is pretty quiet with little emergency traffic. I am the wife and here are my 2 cents after 7 weeks. Quiet, safe, close to the Park on the east river. Plenty of grocery stores nearby. Surprisingly quiet at night save the occasional siren. Lots of hot water with good water pressure. The kitchen has all the basics. Good closet space with extra lightbulbs etc. The mattresses are horrible. ( if you enjoy sleeping on a sidewalk then you’ll dig these) The toppers helped a little but actually over time gave me a horrible back ache because you can’t fix a crappy mattress. ( I was miserable) The staff is responsive and helpful. They were always quick to reply and usually quick to respond to a need. Any staff that came to fix or replace anything was always friendly and courteous. If they got quality pillow top mattresses and put in room darkening shades in the master, it would take this place to the next level. My husband endured 7 weeks of cancer treatment and this was home to us during that time. It is about a 15 minute walk to MSK if you’re needing a place to stay during treatment. While it’s small, it’s roomier than any other place we previewed. I think it’s a good choice for an extended stay. The building is old and far from luxury, but there was always an effort to keep things neat and tidy. Elevator went down and was literally back up in 2 hours. They take care of their guests.
