Eganstown · 露营车/房车 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 On Historic Property
The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied. Enjoy a relaxing, layback experience in the 1974, revamped lux caravan. It’s well appointed, unique & beautifully situated on an historical working farm. The verandah has great views, a huge deck, carport, spa bath, bbq, deck chairs & outdoor dining setting. Step back into the 70’s retro INTERIOR to a compact KITCHEN with electric 4 burner cook top, under counter fridge, kettle & toaster, coffee plunger/press & microwave. Basic condiments are supplies- salt & pepper, olive oil, red vine vinegar, dried basil & oregano, ground coffee, instant coffee. Our own Spring water supplied. The LIVING AREA consists of a Sofa, wall TV on a swivel (view from queen bed), DVA player & some dvds including daggy 70’s titles & cabinet containing cocktail bar, games cupboard, videos, glass & crockery. There is also a blue tooth speaker for you to access your own music. Reverse Cycle Heating/Cooling. The QUEEN BED with electric blanket can be separated from the living space with a privacy curtain. The popped out full BATHROOM off the living space has a bath, shower over bath, toilet, basin, luxury Serendipity Amenities, slippers & luxury towels. A Complementary Continental Breakfast is provided. It includes Bread, Butter, Muesli, Cereal, Yogurt, Jams & Honey, Tea & Coffee. My Great Great Grandfather, John Egan, settled here in 1848, calling the Eagan’s Homestead “Kooroonella” (also known as “Corinella”) meaning where kangaroo drinks. The family has been here for 6 generations now. There is 120 hectares (300 acres) of bush & farmland to walk & explore. There are many kangaroos, wallabies & beautiful birds to view in this hilly terrain with gorgeous views in all directions. There are areas that can be wet & rough so good walking shoes or boots are recommended. This area is 600 metres above sea level and gets cold, especially in the evenings & early morning. BRING WARM CLOTHES!
Very comfortable stay and such a beautiful location. Kate was a lovely host, couldn’t have asked for more. Only wish we’d booked for longer!
Beautiful weekend away, caravan was cozy & colourful. Fantastic views for relaxing in the tub. Kate was a great host, gave us delicious homemade bread and goodies for breakfast. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful location and peaceful serenity! We would defiantly recommend coming to stay at Kate’s air bnb.
My sister-in-law raved about this place, and now I see why! Kate was such a warm and welcoming host; knowledgable and happy for a chat, but also gave us complete space to really enjoy the airbnb as our own. I really appreciated the goodie basket of homemade food and fruit that was provided; the freshly baked bread with Kate's homemade jam, and a little brie on top (we brought the cheese ;)) was a life-changing way to start our days! I spent my whole stay admiring the gorgeous interior of the retrofitted caravan, with such a bright and cheerful (but not overwhelming) cohesive colour palette at every turn. The natural beauty of the landscape was such a gift to behold, and the local area was a pleasure to explore! I could rave about this place for hours, but long story short, this is what all airbnbs should strive to be. I hope to be back someday, thank you Kate!
We had such a relaxing weekend at Kate's Viscount Royal Caravan. Kate is an amazing host! Her warm welcome, friendly pets, the caravan, her home made bread and the beautiful scenery were just perfect!! We even had a spa in the sunset, it was just amazing. We enjoyed every second of our stay! Thank you Kate for letting us stay at your beautiful caravan. We definitely would love to come back again.
