Tahara estate exceeded all my expectations. The stunning architecture and beautiful ocean views made every moment feel like a dream. The fact that every room was equipped with air-conditioning ensured that our stay was comfortable even on the hottest days. The staff and security were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and safe throughout our entire stay. The surrounding neighborhoods were also filled with friendly faces and added to the overall charm of the location. I can't recommend Airbnb Tahara Estate enough - it's a true gem

The lay-out of the unit is great, as is the quality of the linen. However, I had to call the host to be sent the access instructions to the estate, heaps of dog feces on the lawn that I had to clean up myself, a couch cushion is torn, the patio set cushions need replacement, the tumble drier does not dry, the dishwasher needs a service, there was no gas for the BBQ nor the oven/stove, the BBQ was so filthy it could not be used, the ignition battery in the BBQ was spent, the unit was not cleaned for a whole day (it was not Sunday or a PH), the electricity meter was not recharged (we spent NY Eve without having any electricity), no linen/towel change in 7 days. Liesa ignored all attempts to reach her (mobile calls, voice messages, WA texts, and messages on the AirBnB portal; even calls from AirBnB head office!). The most unresponsive host ever. If she responds it is delayed and/or an empty promise. The most disappointing experience I have ever had in any type of holiday accommodation.

The house looks amazing on the photos but A LOT of maintenance is needed. Ceiling lights that dont work, open light sockets with no light bulbs in them. We ran out of gas on Christmas Day. Three gas bottles - all empty and no back-up??? Not the nice relaxing experience we were hoping to achieve. As there is no Weber, you can only use the gas BBQ to braai you meat. The dishwasher doesn’t work and from 24-26 December the domestic is on leave (totally fair) but then make sure your dishwasher is working. I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a holiday and have to wash dishes every day. There are broken chairs in the garden (amongst other junk stuffed into a corner) and in the garage. The fridge is missing a foot, so it wobbles when the door is opened. Something causes the electricity to trip. Pre-paid electricity meter ran out on our first day! Couch covers were torn. Not worth the price :( Quite disappointed.

Stay was so awesome, Thank God. We eventually extended for more days. You just feel comfortable. The House is so much bigger than what comes across in the pictures. There were a few hiccups along the way, but in the way it was resolved showed that the host was great. God Willing, we will be back!
