My girlfriends and I were in town for a girls weekend. This place was so fun. Lots of neat little areas, the courtyard, the pool. My girlfriend really loves Stanley and Millie and Bonnie. We would go out each morning to say good morning and she loved it. It was perfect just for us yes. John was so kind and so helpful and we just really enjoyed our time there.

Would love to see a full size fridge/ freezer added to the room as well as a more accurate description specifying no kitchen, sink, cooktop or oven. Could have used instructions about the shower. John was very hospitable and kind. Beds are very comfortable! Layout is unusual and attached to the host home. Dogs were quiet. Pool was nice. Decor is dated but charming and cozy.

Grapevine is a fun town for a quick getaway! John’s place is walkable yo so much- we really enjoyed that part! The game room was a hit too- gave us a fun place to spend time together. We also got a great deal of entertainment out of Stanley the pig and his friends the goats! We looked forward to sharing our leftovers 😄 Beds were comfortable and a/c worked great for the 100+ degree days. My family and I were very pleased!

Should be a 2.5 star review. I rounded up to 3 only for location. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine. Pool was a definite plus, however the host did ask us to skim the pool for him. The temperature stayed at 77/78 for all but 6 or so hours. finally around 4 or 5 in the morning it would reach 72 but as soon as the sun came up, the temperature started climbing in the house. When I called the host, he explained it was because the house was old. There needs to be a window unit or something done to correct this. It's miserable to be out in the Texas heat all day and not be able to cool off at night. On our second night, a picture fell off the wall and it looked as though the glue had melted from the constant heat in the living area. Also, where we stayed is attached to the main house and the host came to the door that separated us and talked through it. It definitely startled us and was uncomfortable. You feel a lack of privacy. They provided only 2 paper bowls for 3 people. No plates. Coffee mug was dirty. And the dead bolt on the doors don't work.

I had a meeting at Gaylord’s. It was a great place to stay and easy access to the convention center. I walked some days and got lyft as well. John was great about sharing insights on restaurants. He was a lovely host - communicative and willing to help us get around and share information on places/restaurants to go to. The pool was great to hang out in as the sun went down. It was really hot when we were there. My friend did go to the pool during the day. Great place to stay- fun, different, and welcoming. Thank you !! I will definitely be back. Texas hospitality at its best.
