Welcome to our home - a charming little island, located 30 mins speedboat from Male International Airport. This lovely island will enchant you with its blue beaches, beautiful sunsets, cute little cafes and warm, friendly people.
Please find my personal recommendations on how to best make use of your time here:
🏝 Star gazing infront of bikini beach - Quiet & peaceful place to watch the stars and hear the sound of the waves. Grab a sun-lounger and enjoy :)
🏝 Do a Vaavu attol excursion - One of the best excursions to be experienced from here. Vaavu Attol has some of the best snorkeling spots in the country. Crystal clear water and lots of marine life to be seen. Snorkeling spots include: Vaavu Shipwreck & Nurse Shark Point.
🏝 Enjoy a meal at "MC" - With regular live band performances in the evenings, these are 2 nice spots to hang out with locals and enjoy a shisha or (non) alcoholic drink over some acoustic tunes.
🏝 Watch the sunset from the bikini beach - Beautiful every time. Get in the water for a sunset swim, or grab a kayak and paddle around, you wont regret it.
🏝 Go to the floating bar - The only place where you can get a drink on the island. Free transfer from the main harbour, your hotel will tell you how to get it. Once you are there, you can order a drink and just relax on the front deck while watching the stars, or if its lively, enjoy some music and party vibes at the main bar area. Nice place to watch the sunset aswell.
🏝 Explore the island by bicycle - Rent a bicycle from us and explore the charming little streets and corners of the island
🏝 Try night fishing - One of the most relaxing and must-try excursions on our list. Hop on a boat just before sunset, cruise around watching the sun go down as we find a spot to anchor the boat and learn how to catch fish the Maldives way - under the stars! A magical experience. Take what you catch and your hotel will cook it for you.
🏝 Try SCUBA Diving - With more dive centres than any other island in the Maldives, our place is the perfect place from which to try scuba diving.
🏝 Watch baby sharks at "North East Beach" - Walk along this beach and you might be lucky to spot baby sharks swimming near the shore (try 4-6 PM for highest chance to see them).
