Serene Lake House located on Lake Fort Scott. Newly constructed modern style lake home. Features 2 large Bedrooms. 1 Master Suite with a King bed, 1 guest bedroom also with a King bed. 2 bathrooms, and large open living space and open kitchen. 1500 square ft plus 1000 square foot covered patio including grill and 5 person hot tub. Covered parking. This property is large, sitting on two lots and has large waterfront access and a dock. House is private and the perfect serene get-a-way. We've labeled our lake home, "The Palm's Get-a-way." Typical lake properties are stacked tightly next to one another. The Palm's Get-A-Way is a new home, privately secluded on 2 lots. The house is private and tucked away from the lake. Still with enjoyable views, but private and serene. In fact you can't see any neighboring houses. Hot tub located on the patio facing the water. The lake frontage is a simple walk (or drive) down our private drive to the lake front lot and has vast space, right over the water, and dock featuring a rock seawall.

We had an amazing stay for a girls trip! The hot tub was so relaxing, fire pit, and beautiful surroundings. My daughters really enjoyed the tire swing and our dog loved playing with the well behaved neighbor dogs. We would go back in a heartbeat! Everything was so clean and inviting.
My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway close to Kansas City. We found this place and could not have been happier. The house was so cool and private on top of being incredibly clean. I brought my fishing poles and caught lots of crappie and bass right off their dock! Our dog came with us and had the most fun. We went on gorgeous walks on the lake roads, played in the yard, and with the neighbors dogs. I was hesitant about other dogs being around but was pleasantly surprised on how well behaved they are and friendly they were to my dog. I would go back just to see Smoky and Serene again. The hot tub was clean and really made the trip even more relaxing. I would give our weekend and 10 out of 10.

Excellent place and location. Very quiet and nice amount of space outside for our dogs. Gary was very responsive to any questions I asked and I appreciated his communication about the neighbor's dogs. We were a little worried because our dogs are young and very unpredictable but the neighbor's dogs did listen to us and followed commands. It is a very peaceful location and beautiful views from the house out to the lake. Great stay...very relaxing.

Lake Fort Scott is a public lake. It's residence are very nice. Often seen walking the outer road. It's a great place for a run, bike ride, or take a beautiful drive. The lake is alive with spirit during the 4th of July. Fort Scott is a simple 5 min drive away. Fort Scott is a warm and welcoming community that features several fantastic local places to eat, coffee shops, downtown shopping, National Historic Site, River walk, Gunn Park (including mountain biking and hiking trails), and a micro brewery.
Navigating around the lake is easy with paved roads circling the entire lake. Perfect for walks or bike rides. Fort Scott is a short and beautiful 4 mile drive from the lake home.
