Fantastic location, in front of ha'penny bridge. This side was a much better stay then over the bridge where the temple bar is located as its surrounded by restaurants, M&S (grocery store), shopping strip etc. The accomodation is part of a hotel, cafe & gym on the ground floor which was great. The room itself was nicely decorated, clean, with decent amenities. The bed/pillows are comfortable. Check was in easy, they allowed us early check in for an additional 10 euros, and staff are very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay but were annoyed that the airb&b description said a king size bed and I think it was smaller than a queen bed. I was traveling with my son and one of the main reasons I selected this place was because it said “king size” bed. I don’t think it’s fair to publish pics of a place and then you get a different unit, not cool

Zanzibar Locke is a great place to stay. It's in the perfect location being in the city center. The people at the desk were super helpful and responded immediately to any questions or requests. The room had everything I needed to cook and eat in the room. It helped me to save money and enjoy some day trips to Northern Ireland and to Wicklow. The public transportation is all nearby and most things are within walking distance. The only reason I did not give this review 5 stars is because the thermostat in my room was broken and did not work for most of the week. It did get fixed and the last 2 nights I was there I was toasty warm. I will definitely stay at Zanzibar Locke again!

Our accommodations were great. The room was comfortable, clean and the water was hot. It was a great combo of a hotel room/air b&b. The location was great for walking to different restaurants, pubs and shops. The only thing we didn’t know ahead of time was the parking situation. We rented a car and had to park in the overnight parking garage which was $25/night. The other option was street parking (also for a fee) however, it didn’t seem secure/safe for overnight parking. The garage was about a 5min walk from the hotel (something to keep in mind with your luggage). There wasn’t a loading area in front of the hotel so you had to carry everything from where you parked. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were able to get us checked in 4hrs early at no additional cost, which was amazing since we had been awake and traveling for 48hrs. I’d stay there again.
