A group of us stayed here for my wife’s 60th birthday - friends and family. We were all so delighted with the accommodation and with Elmarie as a host. Elmarie was always helpful and provided us with so many local tips - the best butcher, things to do, even a secret spot for walking our dogs in a nearby kloof! The place itself was spectacular. A gracious old home that has been superbly renovated and decorated, the kitchen is equipped with the best Smeg appliances. And there’s a private back garden where our kids could play, and we could sit in the evening around the outside table and enjoy drinks and braai. A truly memorable weekend in a superb venue!

We were 12 guests, all attending a wedding with the children staying behind. Everyone could prepare in comfort and the children were safe and entertained. The house is spectacularly furnished, with farm size kitchen, all amenities and even consumables, coffee pods, milk in the fridge, rusks. Bathrooms were spotless, supplied with soap, shampoo, enough towels for everyone. I am just sad we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the great reading room, beautiful art and old world splendour. Above all thank you Elmarie for the very warm welcome and support beyond expectation. PS. The value per person way exceeded the cost, this venue is wortha lot more than what we paid.

We were 9 ladies looking for a unique place to celebrate a bridal shower. Elmarie’s place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The house is beautiful, unique with an elegant charm. Also very central to loads of restaurants, the wine train and various wine farms are just a stone throw away. Elmarie was such a lovely host and so very accommodating to some of our requests. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely be back!
