My wife Paula and I started our Airbnb hosting journey so we could buy our dream Lake House in the Adirondack Mountains near my hometown in upstate New York. We looked around for many years and in the spring of 2018 our dream home on the Great Sacandaga Lake - affectionately named Island View - was finally born! Our Airbnb experience with Island View has been so much fun that we ultimately decided to establish a similar gathering place in Florida to have a fun, comfortable house to "meet in the middle" with Paula's family and friends visiting from Brazil. So now we are delighted to be hosting families and groups of friends at the Dolphin Villa near Orlando, FL as well ! The ISLAND VIEW story: Our family has had a place on the Great Sacandaga Lake since my grandfather and his brothers bought land here in the 1940's and it is our go-to family gathering place! As you will discover when you stay at Island View, this is a very special place to relax, have fun, and unwind. The DOLPHIN VILLA story: In talking with a friend who owns and hosts his own home near Orlando, we quickly realized that a pool home in Orlando, Florida would be a great place to "meet in the middle" with Paula's family and friends visiting from Brazil. We searched and searched and finally found the Dolphin Villa! It is the perfect family gathering place for us in Florida.
