Had booked the house for a long stay of 5 weeks. The Good: -The location is close to everything with a 5-minute car ride and a 5-minute walk to the beach, The neighbors are super friendly -The Basement is massive and finished - comfy couch bed for hang out time and 2nd TV provided, lots of toys for kids, Additional Air mattress provided -During our stay the hot Water and Heat malfunctioned on 2 separate occasions and Jamie was on top of it and got it resolved in time. Could be better: -Did not have sheets or pillowcases on beds upon arrival and did not provide basic supplies like Toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, and cleaning supplies. -Excessive instructions on check out process we had to pretty much deep clean the house -Jamie was fine to communicate with over the app, but her Mom is the property manager and you have to deal with her if anything is needed, the mother was very unfriendly and unpleasant to communicate with every time!!! Overall - GOOD

Highly, highly recommend this lovely home for your stay in South Portland! We enjoyed a month long stay during September 2023. If daily strolls to Willard beach, charming local community, effortless access to downtown Portland, and a wonderful host is your thing, this is the place for you. The home is perfectly appointed with everything you will need. The local community is lovely — we really felt “at home.” We quickly discovered Scratch Baking for our morning coffee run and always made it to Willard Scoops for ice cream. For my husband, Ruby Thai was a favorite and my son and I loved Trivia Night at Elsmere BBQ. This home is wonderfully located so that you can effortlessly get into downtown Portland and all that it has to offer, while also capturing small town coastal Maine. Finally, can’t say enough about our wonderful host Jaime. Whenever we reached out, the responses were instant with helpful, clear information and local insights.

The house really felt like a home, well suited for our 1-year-old. It had loads of toys and books, and almost everything childproof. The toys were well stored in the closets, so it didn't feel cluttered. The house was one floor, so no steps (other than entry) to worry about really. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Willard Beach, a popular local bakery, market for select goods, and great ice cream parlor. The drive into Portland was only 10-15 minutes and a 30min walk to South Portland, which had a handful of great little restaurants. Rec SoPo Seafood and Cafe Louis! Our only complaint would be that the bed is a full size mattress, way too small for my wife and I. The frame it was on had a head and foot board so I couldn't fit without my feet crammed against the footboard. Jamie enlisted help to swap out the wooden frame with a metal box spring frame, but the mattress was still too small. I had to sleep in one of the children's beds. All in all a great stay.

This home is in an excellent location within walking distance to beaches, parks, restaurants, and shops while also being a short drive to Portland. I did not end up having many questions or issues but Jamie was very responsive when I did reach out. I worked remotely for a long term stay and had no issues with the internet connection. Overall, a charming and convenient home.

I enjoyed staying in this quaint, perfectly located, and comfortable air bnb. It felt like home. I will definitely be back!
