Hyggelig vert som svarer raskt. Kjempekoselig hytte, gode fasiliteter. Godt utstyrt kjøkken og kjempefin overbygd veranda med stor grill. God plass til 4 voksne og 1 tenåring. Obs bratt trapp for ankomst til hytta og 100m fra parkeringsplass, så kan være vanskelig om man er dårlig til bens. Og litt knot å finne sti ned til vannet, men ikke noe større problem :) Litt støvete, men sikkert en stund siden hytta har vært brukt. Så ikke noe vi brydde oss stort om, tok en runde med støvkluten og koste oss videre. Kommer gjerne igjen. Alt i alt terningkast 6

Those who are travelling without car please be aware of the bus routes and timings as this place is 6km away from Sundevollen E16 bus station. Be well prepared with the grocery before reaching to this place. Location of the place is best suited for hiking nearby to Mørkganga and other hiking spots. House is lovely and enjoy the stay.

Firstly the location was at 47 & 48 so I was dragging around my wife and three children, trying to find the location, and as it was late, the host didn’t respond. It is worth noting that they were aware that we were arriving late. Due to the temperature and time of night, every single person slipped over and bruised in cells at some stage, so I would suggest maybe giving some instructions about finding the property. After an hour, we found the location and the scenery and setting was stunning. The property was very well equipped, and it was exactly as described. We had two power cuts whilst at the property. One lasted for the entire night. When the house was informed about this, they told me to light a fire. No remorse or apology. It’s also worth noting that my wife and I were bitten by bedbugs in the top bedroom. After we had checked out, the host decided to call me and asked why I hadn’t cleaned the property even though she had put on a hefty cleaning fee to the price. 2/5

When we arrived at the home we quickly noticed that the whole place was infested with mice. There’s was poop everywhere. Piss stains and evidence of food storage and empty seed shells all over the furniture, inside the drawers (like the cutlery drawer) all over the floor. The mice had made this place their little paradise. We immediately tried notifying our host who informed us that this was perfectly normal and part of the experience of living in a small cabin in Norway. Now while this may be true and fine, what isn’t true and fine is that no efforts have been made to keep the problem under control and to keep the place clean and sanitary. The cleaning policy seemed like the host just told the previous guest to clean and that’s it. There’s no evidence of any deep cleaning done between stays. There was a pile of dirty blankets and towels on the floor in one of the guest bedrooms and the bed were made but used by the previous guests. The host dumped a bag of maybe clean blankets after we requested them. When we realized the host wasn’t going to do anything about the mice problem. We quickly began to clean EVERYTHING. not a great way to start a holiday. After the cleaning was done we looked through the bag of blankets and saw that there were no towels so we wrote the host who replied that towels weren’t part of the deal but we could go to her house (wherever that might be) and borrow some of her towels if we wanted. We decided to buy new towels instead and leave this lady alone. Every morning we would wake up to the mess the mice had made all night. They chewed into our coffee bag and some powdered drinks. So they were obviously not afraid of humans at all. Clearly this lady not hosting for the pleasure of hosting and clearly she doesn’t care at all. It’s a real shame because this little cottage was breathtakingly beautiful. The view was spectacular and it was decorated very tastefully and cozy. So, if you don’t mind the rats and filth…then this place would be perfect for you.

Very nice cabin and location. It's better in real life than the pictures reveal. We had a great time there!
