The place is pretty much as advertised. It is in a local neighborhood. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. The Oxigeno Mall is a thirty minute walk up the hill. There are neighborhood stores on both ends of the street. We know that neighborhoods can be noisy, but the noise level at Dee's place is extreme. The dogs bark and the pet parrots squawk from early morning until late at night. The noise level was often so loud we could not hear the television when turned up full volume. The dogs and birds drove us crazy.

Large, spacious house in a friendly urban neighbourhood. Has a little garden out the back, which was great to relax in. Dee was very welcoming, responsive and helped us out with any queries. The front bedroom is not for light sleepers with noise coming in from the street (dogs, karaoke etc) and the light shining in in the morning. Could do with more storage as most of the space was being used by the host. But a clean and well equipped house for guests.

The place is perfect! 1. Dee and her husband are excellent hosts; anything and everything we needed I just contacted them and they were there, no matter the time. 2. The house has everything and I mean everything you will need in a home, hot water, 2 big bedrooms, dining area, living room, 2 full bathrooms (1 with tub), full size refrigerator, microwave, full size stove, ac, wifi, tv's, every cooking appliance needed (dishware, cooking ware, bakeware, utensils), towels, sheets, beddings, washer & dryer, everything! 3. The neighborhood is very safe and neighbors are very friendly. My wife and I walked everywhere freely and never encountered problems. If you don't want to walk, Ubers are everywhere. 4. It is conveniently located to everything you will need. Fyi Palí supermarket is the only place in the area the sells the big 6000ML jug of water which is convenient to have for long stays. There's an awesome mall less than 10 minutes away called Oxigeno Human Playground, it's big and really cool. Lots of eating options. My wife bought me my PS5 (father's day gift) at the mall. We were shock to find it in stock; they're nowhere to be found in the USA. 5. I have literally no complains. I have an extremely picky wife. We only stay in 5 star resorts thanks to a timeshare we own so she's used to only the best when we travel, but since there were no resort options with our timeshare in the city side of Costa Rica, just the coastal beachside, we opted for an airbnb. I was afraid she would complain, but man she loved it. Happy wife happy life! By the way, my wife and I attempted to go to the Poás volcano, got an uber to take us, but upon our arrival we were not allowed to enter because we needed to already have the tickets bought electronically online. So if you plan to go, buy it before arriving. There's absolutely no internet reception to buy it once you're up there. Overall the trip was a success! We stayed for a month. The location was perfect, the house was perfect, and the host was perfect. Thank you Dee and your husband for everything!

Dee’s place is awesome! It’s even better than the pictures. My husband and I stayed and worked from here for a week and it was perfect. Only a 5 min walk to all sorts of restaurants, bakery’s, and coffee shops and grocery store. About a 10 min drive from a large new mall. Checking in and out was a breeze and the parking was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Overall we had a wonderful and comfortable stay and would return in a heartbeat.

WOW!!! 5 stars!!! You instantly walk into a beautifully decorated space with great amenities! I travel to Costa Rica often for work and will definitely be returning. There was reliable high speed internet, cable tv with tons of channels (both English and Spanish) free parking, great outdoor spaces, plus a large office and desk. Everything you need is in walking distance! A true gem, I hardly used my rental car. Best Airbnb experience and Dee and Tasha are responsive and excellent hosts! I highly recommend this space. Not to mention I fell in love with the coffee shop and bakery at the end of the block. My go to spot each morning!
