super clean and adorable back deck!
The house overall is good value. When we checked in we found for the most part it was clean. The coffee cups had some old coffee stains in them and the coffee percolator wasn’t emptied or cleaned out (still had the old coffee filter and grinds in it and the pot had old coffee in it). The house sleeps 6 with 3 double/queen beds but only has seating around the island for 4 people and no kitchen table. It is very basic but has the essentials.
Evan was very responsive to our needs. The location was very close to everything. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks Evan
This is a great place to stay for a visit to Ontario's Wine Country. The village of Virgil has most things you need on short notice, and you are well located to take a great tour of the amazing wineries Niagara has to offer. The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is a very short distance away, and many wineries are within a bikeable distance. Evan is a very responsive and friendly host. The minor difficulties that arose were responded to very quickly and I would very happily stay there again.
We had a great stay. We loved that each bedroom has a TV and a full mirror! Great touch!! Bathrooms and kitchen are new and very modern. The whole place was clean, new and well designed. Bathroom upstairs is huge. We had an issue with the front door lock having low battery so we were unable to lock the front door - Evan was responsive and came within 15-20 minutes to change the battery! That was impressive and very helpful! We agreed with other reviews that there are no window coverings on the main floor which is fine during the day but we would have appreciated the privacy at night when you can see right into the home as it’s right off a main intersection. Good amount of dishes but lacking a bit cooking supplies. Overall I would highly recommend. Location is great close to wineries.
