Welcome to this East Side 1 bedroom equipped with all the essentials for a fantastic stay near downtown Milwaukee. Although the building is older, the unit has updated appliances and a cute interior with stylish design. Additionally, the location is PERFECT! It's an easy walk to downtown, Lake Michigan, Brady St, restaurants, bars and other attractions that Milwaukee has to offer. For a night in, enjoy the TV with a Roku that includes HBO Max or chill on the private balcony. Heat/AC The heat runs at the same time building wide through radiators. There is no thermostat. To adjust how much heat comes out of the radiator, turn the knob clockwise (less heat) or counter clockwise (more heat). Please note that in mild temperatures the heat will not run very frequently due to reaching the set temperature. For AC, there is 1 window unit that is installed in the bedroom in late May/early June. There is also a ceiling fan in both the bedroom and living room as well as a standing fan Parking We offer free parking in the parking lot next to the building in spot #23 To get to the parking lot, take the alley just to the left of the apartment building. Once you are in the parking lot, find spot 23 and you can park there. You will need to display the parking pass (8X11 sheet) in your car towards the middle of the parking lot at all times. Instructions on where the pass will be will be given with check in information. Kitchen We have basic cooking utensils that you are free to use, but we would greatly appreciate if you could clean up before checking out. There’s also condiments, cooking spray, coffee, coffee maker and tea. The water on the fridge does not work, so please use the sink water for everything. Living Room This living room comes with 1 couch and a tv with Roku. Bedroom There is a soft mattress queen bed with fresh linens, a dresser and 2 fans in the bedroom. In the bedroom closet, there are extra linens, pillows, hangars and extra blankets. Upon arrival, there will be towels and washcloths laid out on the bed for each guest. Bathroom This apartment has a full bathroom. The shower includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Also in the bathroom are tampons if needed. Laundry If you need to do laundry, we have a building wide laundry room on the first floor. You will need the bronze key to get into the laundry room. To get there, walk down either stairs and the laundry room will be on the first floor in the Southeast part. The washer and dryer machines take quarters in order to operate and are each $1.50.
