It’s an older place. I love Cathy. She did a great job as a host. She bought a TV while I was there for the room but you have to login with your own Amazon account and unregister when you leave, which was super easy. There is no place to cook or do laundry though so if you are staying long term you should know that. Other than that it is worth what you pay.

Cathy is a wonderful host, kind and welcoming and easy to talk to. She has made a cozy, welcoming rural retreat in a very old home from the antebellum period—great for people who like to feel the presence of the past. The location is remote, which has the benefit of pastoral scenery. I was staying in the Quilt Room in Cathy’s house while commuting to Columbia during the day and found that it felt further than I had anticipated. Probably a better location if you’re planning to visit Jefferson City, or a retreat from town and city life altogether. Cathy was very flexible with my particular situation. I was grateful for the chance to meet her and stay in her house, which is full of creaks and character.

Cathy is a really nice lady. Responds fast and very helpful. Her place is affordable compared to other listing in area. I would stay there again.

This was our second time staying here. Peaceful surroundings, just far enough from the highway. Very comfortable to come and go as we needed. Cathy was quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this location!

Old Country home off the old highway, rooms are large and spacious. Mind you the internet is a little slow. Stayed gere two months during weekdays for work and the highway acess really helped woth commutes. And the remoteness meant that I came home relaxed and able to focus on myself. Cathy was very communicative and any minor issues I came across were adressed promptly.
