We stayed for 3 nights at the Europalace Hotel. Staff were lovely and the rooms are quite big and cosy. We based ourselves there to visit Venice and Trieste. The train station is only a 15 minute walk or there is a bus stop directly out the front of the Hotel. Train to Venice is only about a 2 hour trip which we chose to do instead of driving, but if you do want to drive there is a huge parking terminal just at the entrance to Venice. Trieste is also a short trip away and an easy drive. Would recommend Europlace and Monfalcone. Will definitely be back thank you.

Schönes Hotel mit freundlichen Personal, sauberen Zimmer und leckeren Frühstück. Für einen Aufenthalt in Monfalcone nur zu empfehlen!

Nice and clean place, very nice and helpful staff. And an extra point that we could bring our cat with us. :)

excellent find in Monfalcone, close to the train for Trieste and Venice. we had a very modern, clean & large room, and enjoyed a better than expected breakfast. Staff were extremely accommodating given we checked in late owing to flights. would strongly recommend if you're exploring Friuli
