Regina was quick to reply to questions and issues. Another positive feature of this rental is the location - across the street from a creek and lengthy walking path. Negotiating the driveway/parking was a tad tricky, and I was glad I rented in the summer.

We stayed at Regina’s place for 4 nights and loved it. It’s close to a lot of places we wanted to go to, including DC, but it’s on a quiet road so it was very peaceful. On the weekend, the main road was closed, which made the place even more quiet and walkable (but still easy to get to via a back road). Our favorite parts of the stay were talking a walk to the nearby playground and seeing a sweet deer outside the bedroom window.

This is a charming location. There is a lot of outdoor space to explore close by and it has easy access to good restaurants. The space itself is a bit damp and musty. There is a dehumidifier going 24/7 in the main room which is not relaxing, but the noise is not noticeable from the bedrooms. Getting inside can be a bit confusing as there is an electronic lock on the door and a separate key box with a different code and you need both to access the space. Regina was available to help us get inside when we arrived, but if she hadn’t been home, we would have struggled to find the lockbox.

We stayed here while visiting friends in Columbia Heights, DC. It was perfect. Super quiet and cozy. Very comfortable bed. The trail/creek park right outside was sooo nice. Driveway is quite steep but manageable. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a seriously great place to stay! Very peaceful setting and a beautiful, private space. Read and understand the driving instructions before setting out. Regina is a kind host and super helpful! The neighborhood is wooded and has access to great walking trails. You're a less than 10 minute drive to downtown Silver Spring and an easy metro connection. It's a great neighborhood and i recommend the local food trucks for a late night snack. Grocery stores very close and the mini fridge and freezer and microwave made it easy to save some money on meals. Highly recommend!
