The coziness of this chalet suite combined with the close proximity of the village and amenities provides our guests the get-away vacation they covet…take a walk outside and you will find across the street is the Sun Peaks golf course and a close 5-10 minute walk will get you to the ski lifts and village for some shopping or fun and good food in one of the pubs or restaurants. With a very wide open 800 square foot floor plan, this newly furnished tastefully decorated lower level full walk out chalet suite offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, laundry facilities, living room, well stocked kitchen, dining table, gas fireplace, on deck BBQ, linens and towels. It is fully furnished and accessorized to be the perfect home away from home. Outside is a large hot tub with views of the mountain and ski slopes. Further enjoy the impressive views, sipping a warm or cold beverage from the lower deck patios. This is a fantastic location for family gatherings or mature adult vacations. The quaint kitchen will have all the modern stainless steel appliances and conveniences, including a fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, blender, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. It is well equipped with all the dinnerware, cookware, glassware, cutlery and utensils you would ever need to cook any type of gourmet meal. The dining table seats 6 comfortably. Basic spices, oils, sugar, coffee/tea, laundry soap, trash bags, paper towel, toilet paper are provided for the first few days to get you going. Please note that we do not restock during your stay. Perfect for sleeping 8-10 people. Each bedroom is furnished with comfortable mattresses, TVs, storage, closets, high thread count linens and comfortable pillows to give our guests a great night sleep with all the comforts for one to enjoy. The master bedroom offers breathtaking views of the mountain and ski slopes. BEDROOM Configurations: Master Bedroom: one queen bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom #2: one set of double/double bunk beds & one set of twin/twin bunk beds (sleeps 6) Living Room: one pull-out queen bed, and breathtaking views (sleeps 2) For Entertainment purposes the chalet suite has a total THREE Flatscreen Smart TVs (internet enabled) in every room (living room + 2 bedrooms) ranging from 32" to 65". It also has cable TV, Netflix (use our account or sign into your own) and high speed WIFI internet. We have also provided a good selection of board games for the entire family and friends to enjoy. A large patio extends off of the living room and master bedroom that overlooks the beautiful mountains! There is an outdoor patio set that is the perfect spot for outdoor dining, as well as a BBQ, so it’s always ready to grill. There is also nice rustic patio lighting to set the perfect mood for hanging out after dark. This unit is great for families (multiple) with children, a group of friends or 2-3 couples who are travelling together and all want to stay in the same place. This will be charged after you book. - Free parking out front in driveway Sun Peaks is a four season resort 45 minutes away from Kamloops, British Columbia, offering some of the world’s finest skiing, golf, mountain biking, fishing and hiking. We hope that you enjoy your stay! IMPORTANT NOTE #1: This 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom vacation rental is located in the LOWER level of a house. The upper level (3 bedroom / 2 bathroom) is also a vacation rental. If you are interested in renting the WHOLE (5 bedroom / 3 bathroom) chalet as one rental (or just the UPPER level by itself) please let us know and we can try to accommodate you. IMPORTANT NOTE #2: There is no hot tubbing allowed past 10pm as per the Sun Peaks Municipality bylaws. IMPORTANT NOTE #3: From time to time, the hot tub may need to be drained and refilled depending on the state that it is left in by the previous guests or if it happens to be dirtied during your stay. As this is a long process and due to the fact that it takes a long time for it to re-heat (8-12 hours), it is possible that this may result in the hot tub not being useable for a certain period of time during your stay. It is important that you follow our hot tub rules to ensure this does not happen during your stay. IMPORTANT NOTE #4: The laundry (I.e. washer and dryer) for the lower unit is located in the furnace room. This is a closed off space that only the lower unit has access to. However, our Property Manager’s (PM) storage closet is also located in the furnace room and from time to time, it may need to be accessed by the Property Manager during your stay. There is another entrance for the PM to get into the furnace room so they will not have to enter your private suite. Nonetheless, we want you to be fully informed in advance. IMPORTANT NOTE #5: There are multiple OUTDOOR cameras located on the property for safety and security reasons. We are required to have these as part of our insurance. Please note these cameras are located at all entrances which also happens to be where the hot tub is located. As such, the hot tub sits within the range of these cameras. We want everyone to be aware of this up front so they are not surprised by seeing a camera when they check in. We will not be able to turn them off during your stay and they cannot be covered up during your stay as this voids our insurance. IMPORTANT NOTE #6: From time to time, the amenities (such as hot tub or bbq for example) may require maintenance/repair and may not be available at times. This is beyond our control. We apologize in advance if any of the facilities/amenities are under maintenance during your stay. Please note that we do not offer refunds if an amenity is unavailable during your stay as these are complimentary additions to your booked accommodation. IMPORTANT NOTE #7: The hot tub is a private hot tub specific to this lower unit. The upper unit also has its own private hot tub meaning there are a total of 2 hot tubs at this chalet. However, in the very RARE case, that one of the hot tubs (either upper or lower) happens to break down this may result in a situation where you have to share a hot tub (on an alternating hourly schedule) with the guests above. This has only happened once in the last 5 years but we wanted to mention the possibility of it in case we run into a situation like that again.
