Kieran has set a little piece of paradise. It’s a great place to stay. As he allows noise until 1am it does attract party groups and we had noise until then both nights. Just something to keep in mind if you hate noise as it really echos through the bush. But Kieran is upfront about this in the posting so it wasn’t a surprise. And Kieran himself is a really lovely guy.
HAKUNA MATATA accepted my last minute request to stay in their camp ground on CHRISTMAS holiday. The check in was very easy, got to meet Kieran the host and I was guided to my campsite. I had the area to myself and I had complete privacy & it was so peaceful. I was surrounded by trees & explored the whole property by foot - I highly recommend it so you can find some hidden gems! I love the look out site & spend many hours there. There is also a dam where you can take the boards out for a paddle or just jump right in, and a Bali hut if you wanna just relax. Absolutely enjoyed my time in this place :) My camp facility: Toilet w/ Tissues Outdoor Camp shower w/ curtain BBQ & Large wooden outdoor table & bench/chairs Fire pit & lots of space to set up camp Some fun obstacles great for kids & adults to have allay around! Some roads require 4x4 car and it is quite easy to get lost if it is your first time without a 4x4 you might come across inaccessible roads They have many options for sites, such as pre made tents, large grass areas for large groups & glamping tents with bed so it’s great for everyone! Other than that I enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to go back!!
The camp site is just amazing and the host is super helpful and responsive.

Kieran is your host and he will add to the facilities and general ambience of the property to make sure that your stay is beyond your expectations. He endeavours to ensure that you leave with a memorable experience and a desire to return. Hakuna Matata resort offers glamping, camping in your own tents or in supplied ready-made tents, and even sites where you can park your own van or camper trailer. But there is also the 'wow' factor that pictures can't even give you. BUT overall, the intent is that you have an adventure that only the Aussie bush can provide ... simple but done well!
