This house was exactly what you want from an upstate getaway. It's remote with a gorgeous view, and we were lucky to get a clear night so the stars were amazing - no light pollution! But it's also pretty easy to get to - we took it slow given the snowy mountain roads, but you're close to Delhi, Andes, Margaretville, with so many cute restaurants, a cidery, a distillery, record store, book stores, and antiques. The house itself is filled with cool antique furniture and an eclectic mix of dish ware, but has luxury bedding and all the modern kitchen things you need to make coffee and cook breakfast. We loved the record player and great assortment of music!! The house is a great value for a group, and we'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the big yard more.

A fun and funky old farm house in a wonderful quiet setting with a beautiful view. We were there only a couple of nights to attend a wedding but we could have stayed a month!

Our stay at the farmhouse was the perfect getaway! The house was spacious and had a great view. It’s just 5 minutes from Bovina, a lovely little town.

Keys were not in the location stated under 'check-in' instructions. Tried the front door -- it was locked. Took over 2 hours (from 3 to 5pm) to hear back from the host at which point we had canceled the reservation (to be fair we were checking in later than we said because we were running late and then got lost). When Alexandra did respond, she said the doors were unlocked, however we weren't able to open the front door and more importantly--we weren't told that ahead of time. Dealing with airbnb was a nightmare. It took hours. As a result we ended up driving an hour on dark and foggy roads to stay at the nearest motel with availability. Tried to checkin at 3pm, finally had a place to stay at 10pm. All with a 6 yr old in tow. And had to throw out all our farm purchased produce and moat groceries.
