This was our second stay at Finley Cottage, and like the first stay, this stay was just great! We spent the week here to attend a National Championship CHSA basketball tournament in which our granddaughter played last year, and again this year. Finley Cottage again met all our expectations. This place is very quiet, being located in a semi remote area, and was again exactly as advertised. The decor of the cabin has been updated somewhat from last year, and that did cost me some money! My wife LOVED the wall pieces that were added, and therefore we spent a couple afternoons in antique and decor shops looking for some of those items. We did find a few in local shops and bought those. But the prices in those shops were just fine, and we are happy with those items, too. Not much more can be said in review of our stay in Finley Cottage. Brad, Bob, and Carol are excellent hosts, and the cabin was exactly as advertised, and the price is just fine, too. We will be back here again.

The place was perfect! It’s 10 min from the Cox hospital. Fair warning: it is tight to get to if you have a full size truck, but we still managed. This is normal for places down there.

A little piece of heaven tucked in the base of the mountain, offers all the amenities of home with the bonus of peace, and tranquility surrounded by natures beauty, Bob and Carol were a true delight. We will be back.

Overall, the cottage was lovely! It was clean, well-furnished, and had good quality linens and amenities. The cottage was very cozy with plenty of options to get comfy and relax. The kitchen had all that would be needed and the fresh cookies were delicious. The bathroom was clean and had nice thick towels. The setting was private and easy to find with the instructions provided. We weren’t prepared for how small the parking area would be. We had a full-size SUV with a 14’ trailer and our side-by-side on it and it was a chore getting it parked in the carport area. It’s very small and the driveway is narrow with not much space to maneuver. We arrived after dark and there were no lights at the carport so it was very difficult to see and make sure we didn’t hit anything. Once we were in, there was no feasible option to turn around. We made it in after many attempts with our phone flashlights. That’s probably the only suggestion I have is, more lighting outside. Great stay otherwise!!
