Tutto perfetto, la casa di Federico è piccola ma ben organizzata in tutti i suoi spazi, c'ètutto di quello di cui si ha bisogno ed anche di più.Che dire di Federico, un host a dir poco eccezionale ci ha fatto sentire a casa nostra dentro la sua. Se ci troveremo in zona sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Federico è una persona deliziosa, molto disponibile. Ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie a vivere un soggiorno tranquillo e piacevole. La casa era splendida, anche meglio di com'è in foto. La casa migliore in zona, a due passi dalla spiaggia, da ristoranti, bar. Stazione e porto raggiungibili facilmente. La consiglio vivamente sia per soggiorni brevi che per soggiorni più lunghi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

The apartment is nicely furnished, very clean and offers good facilities. We had a nice stay in the apartment. Since the apartment is located in a quiet suburb, it is recommended to arrive by car. By car you can reach the beautiful beaches in about 20 - 30 minutes. The check-in, check-out and communication with Frederico went smoothly. Frederico is really a super nice and exceptional host. He gave us tips for the most beautiful beaches, had bought some groceries for us and even drove us to the car rental - thank you very much!

If we could have left more than 5 stars, we would have. We've been travelling around Europe for 2 months and nothing compares to this stay in terms of value for money and hospitality from the host himself, Federico. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and in a convenient area. The host, Federico, is incredibly kind and generous which made our stay even more comfortable as it felt like we had a friend right in the city that we could contact if we needed anything. I cannot rate this place high enough and hope that I can return again in the future.

Firstly, it pains me to write this review, because I love Fede. He is a gentleman, and very kind. I am sad my Italian is non-existent, because I would like him to make friends of him. Mind you, he may not want to be friends with me after this review :( The place itself is nice. A sea view, if you sit on the huge balcony ledge; a lovely bedroom, white and tranquil. The kitchen and bathrooms are small, but functional. Fede might do well in stocking his kitchen a bit better for guests; though he left me a lot of chocolate (which is always a mistake, for unbeknowingly he fed my terrible tendency to addiction), water, a couple of drinks and some yoghurt, he could do with some other basics; a bottle of decent olive oil, some pepper, chilli flakes, decent soap, a kitchen knife, some more crockery, a better drying rack, that kind of thing. Don't get me wrong; it's functional, but this is the reason he's not getting five stars! Sorry, Fede :) The other thing that is worth flagging up is the location. I chose this, as a pose to anywhere else in Ancona, because it was almost directly on the seafront. But... the nearest supermarkets were literally the worst i have ever seen in Italy, and the only place to eat (apart from a comedy pizzeria from the 1970s)... is a bloody Maccy D's. WTF?? This is Italy, man! Even the peaches and tomatoes were fake!! I was hoping to hire a scooter, but this wasn't possible. The only way to Ancona is by bus - Fede kindly left me a batch of tickets, and the bus service is great, thankfully. The redeeming factor is the beach. It's literally one minute away (you have to go under a massive road and railway line to access it). It's not a brilliant beach - smelly, stony, polluted water on the first day, filled with bronzed octogenarians and a naked man in a tent who was definitely looking for some action) but hey. It's the sea. the water did improve, and I found it restorative enough never to need to go into Ancona, so there's that. All in all, given the wifi connection is great, i ended up cooking for myself for three days (the one redeeming grace about the local supermarket opposite MacDonalds is their prepared fish/seafood skewers in their deli section), and working - I'm a creative, so had a nice time locking down and getting some work done; the apartment is light and airy enough to ensure that this was a good experience. Sorry Federico, I hope I haven't broken your heart with my scything review. Who knows is Google translate will even accurately translate 'scything'? Sigh. No much is lost in translation. Thanks for picking me up from the station - what a storm!! I thought we were going to die!! :)
