Our time at Family Tides was wonderful! The location was perfect- literally right at the sea. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a view of the sea from the house, but it was literally so quick and easy to walk to the beach.... maybe 200 meters. Even tho there wasn’t a view, we could open our windows at night and sleep with the sound of the waves as the house was just on the other side of the dunes from the sea. The beach in front of Family Tides was beautiful and even tho it is not a swimming beach we found so many beautiful seashells! We really enjoyed the privacy and the quietness of this beach as we had the beach to ourselves almost all the time! There were lots of other good swimming beaches in close driving distance and we enjoyed visiting the swimming beaches in Scottburgh, Pennington and Mtwalume. We felt very safe with the trelli doors. The pool at the complex was much larger than we expected and sparkling clean! This was the perfect spot for our family to rest and relax. We would definitely go back to Family Tides again!
