John was very accommodating when my aunt’s water heater broke at her house down the road allowing her to come over as needed. Unfortunately there were very few blankets and sheets for the bed, futon and couch (nothing to cover the couch), and there was no shampoo/conditioner or soap for the shower as stated in the amenities. We ended up bringing stuff over from my aunt’s house.
Always a pleasure to stay here. So much to do nearby when we need a getaway…
Wonderful attentive host. Reached out before check in and stayed in touch. Place was just as described. Bigger and cozier in fact perfect location for us near my daughter’s home. We look forward to staying here whenever we visit!
It was nice
My wife and I spent a week at this property. It was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the country setting and the fact that we were only minutes from Altamont and Schenectady. John was very helpful with the check in and very friendly.

Hi there! I am a general contractor in the Albany area and a ski instructor at Hunter Mountain. I love the outdoors and outdoor recreation very much. My partner Jen and I are foodies! We love to cook and feed people what we make. We enjoy skiing, running, golf, cycling, alpine touring, mountain biking, vegetable gardening, craft beer, traveling and time on the beach as well as entertaining people in our homes. When we travel we always appreciate the accommodations that are clean, and where we feel as though we are home and the host was respectful to our need for peace and privacy. Life is an amazing array of experiences and we are very passionate about getting out there and submersing ourselves and our families in to them. We are very culturally curious and therefore very open minded to the richness they can bring by sharing and kindness. I know some sign language
