Had the most incredible stay at Vida Boa Lodge, it was my first hostel and I think I have set the bar so high for standards from this point on! Lily & the crew were always so friendly, gave great recommendations and helped make the stay so comfortable. The house itself is an incredible villa, more of a resort than a hostel! Massive thanks to Lily & the team for an amazing time. Would highly recommend!

This place is a gem ! It's like a luxury resort, only very affordable because you stay in a dorm. The beds were comfy, I slept so well and enjoyed the balconies, the pool, the bar & restaurant service and Lily,'s warm welcome and recommandation. I had everything to be happy. The location is a 25 minutes walk down to the beach/restaurants/old town, and coming back up you need to take either the little bus or an Uber, which is not expensive but is something to consider if you're looking to be close to the beach. It is still worth it because this place is a little paradise with amazing service and interior design !

It was my first time in a hostel and Lily made it very special! The hostel is gorgeous, so tidy and clean! Lily was lovely, so helpful with everything and was so helpful booking excursions for me! The outdoor bar by the pool was amazing, the staff , Luca and Moa were lovely and so helpful! All staff were really easy to just chat with. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean and came with everything I needed! It was nice to have a living room area where I was able to chill and play games! I really couldn’t fault this hostel and would 100% recommended it to everyone! Such a lovely way to make friends too! It was amazing! Thank you to Lily and all the staff for making my holiday a good stay!
