Our stay at this Airbnb in Barbati, Greece, was an unforgettable experience! The location was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and surrounding mountains. The Airbnb was a serene oasis, providing all the comforts we needed for a relaxing vacation. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the tasteful decor added a touch of charm to the space. One of the highlights was the fantastic pool! It was the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy lazy afternoons basking in the Greek sun. The pool area was well-maintained. The terrace overlooking the sea was another delightful feature. Overall, this Airbnb in Barbati surpassed our expectations, offering a perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and natural beauty. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape in Greece. We're already dreaming of our next visit to this serene paradise!

Technically since we were moved to a different villa hours before our arrival due to an issue with the pool at this listing I am reviewing a different space but ran by the same people. I assume the way the units are cleaned and ran would be similar or the same. The unit was nice but the road it’s located on is very loud and the cleanliness of the space was poor. There was even a random man’s flip flop half sticking out of the couch when we arrived and just not up to our standards personally. Mid October in this area expect 85% of the dining out to be closed so if you want good options for restaurants you will need to go into Corfu. We enjoyed the beach by the house and the person we were assigned as our contact was very quick to respond. The set up with the travel cot was perfect for us and our toddler and the view of the sunrise was stunning. Personally, next time I would choose something else.

The view from the villa is stunning! We were disappointed with a few things. We required the internet as we needed to work daily. The internet did not work, despite replacing the router - which was incredibly frustrating. We were told there had never been any complaints so I just wanted future guests to know - you cannot rely on it. Johnny hosts over 30 properties and I'm not sure he even knows the house. Responses to queries were not relevant to questions or he merely suggested that I should text Cindy. Neither hosts are local to the property. The main bathroom toilet refills every 20 minutes and wakes up both the top floor and the first floor guests. The driveway is incredibly steep. The first time I attempted it the car stalled and all passengers had to get out and I had to switch off the air conditioning! Finally got to the top (about 120 paces) shaking but it got better after that - maybe if you were used to these very steep hills it would be easier to navigate! There are maintenance guys who wander around the property (unannounced and uninvited) every day from 8am to 1pm so we felt uncomfortable using the pool. Even whilst we were in the pool they were taking water levels/chlorine tests. Finally - the villa was cheaply furnished and a few items were broken. One of the kitchen cupboards hinges and the curtain rail in the top bedroom.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Villa was lovely, very clean and plenty of space for our party of 3 adults and 2 kids. Great layout having a bedroom and bathroom on each floor so everyone has their own space. The pool was gorgeous and much appreciated as it was sooooo hot while we were there. Comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas round the pool so always shade if you need it. Cindy and the team were on hand for any queries, and there was daily checking of the pool, outdoor cleaning and rubbish removal which was great. All feels very well kept. The villa is in a great location, easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants and cafes so you don’t need a car. However the minimarts are pretty expensive and limited choice so you really need a car to get to the bigger supermarkets. If you’re self catering, the kitchen is tiny, so a bit tricky for trying to prep meals for a family. There is a bbq too though and the fridge is big. And quite a few tavernas nearby! Lord Byron was really good and a nice view. Worth noting that the villa is at the top of a really steep hill so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. You can drive up it and the villa has a parking space outside at the top, but taxis wouldn’t drive up it so you need to be prepared to walk up with your shopping etc, and cases! Barbati beach is 5 mins walk from villa and gorgeous crystal clear seas. It got pretty busy later in the day but was pretty quiet until mid morning. Kids also loved the shared pool by the beach.
