Ed was a fantastic host! He is very quick to respond, very helpful and always looking for ways to improve the experience. The space is wonderful for the intermittent traveler. It is safe and has all the security one could ask for. It is clean and private. I would definitely stay again.

As my husband says, wish we could give ten stars! We are spoiled! The way he arranged the place is well thought and his care shows in details; interior design, light fixtures, stable & fast WiFi, high tech etc. All are made for visitors to stay very comfortable.

Highly recommend Ed's place!! 10 stars out of 5 at least. First off, the property itself is fantastic. For starters, you have parking in a garage in a gated area. If you are not familiar with the area, parking is tough when you have street parking so this is a tremendous bonus. Secondly, the apartment itself is everything described. It is modern and perfect for a single person or couple. The kitchen has plenty for making meals with the cooktop and microwave just not an oven which isn't a big deal for me. Again, everything is modern and much nicer than it would have to be. There is a large TV with any streaming service you would need including Youtube TV. This brings me to the internet, which is extremely fast for any needs you would have. My favorite part of Ed's place is the bathroom. It would fit into what I imagine a fancy mansion would have. The pictures don't do it justice. I almost forgot that the laundry is just a down a few steps away from the unit inside and very convenient to use. Now to the hosts: Ed and Ashley are two of the sweetest and most kind people I have ever met. When I arrived Ed was very welcoming and made check in very easy. He even carried my luggage up. He is very knowledgeable of the area and has great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. He hasn't disappointed me with anything he has recommended. He is always fast to respond if there is anything you need. I had one small issue and it was fixed immediately. I really can't put into words how great Ed has been as a host. Last thing I should mention is the great location. It literally takes about 2 minutes to walk across the street to get to the beach. Go across the street and down some steps and you are to the walking/ bike paths that run all along the length of Long Beach. I spend much more time at the beach and pier than inside. There are also great places to eat that are within a 5 minute drive. The area it is located seems to be a very safe area. I go out for walks most nights after dark and have not had any issues at all. This was extremely long but I am here on a long work assignment and have stayed here 3 months and wanted to cover as much as I could. From what I have seen on Airbnb, you cannot beat Ed's for the price. He takes great care of his property and you will not regret staying here. It is also very quiet here for being along a busier street and I know that is important to most. There is hardly any outside noise getting in.

We stayed 2 weeks at this location. It was fantastic in every way. The accommodations had a lot of thoughtful details and was just as it was described. Don't be intimidated by not having a separate entrance. It was actually less invasive than walking through a lobby of a hotel. The place itself was very private. Ed was the PERFECT host. He made himself available if we needed anything and had great recommendations on things to do. We LOVED our stay.
