This ideal log cabin with a wood-burning fireplace and outdoor firepit is a super cozy and comfortable space where you will immediately be able to exhale and unwind. 1,450 square feet on the inside, and located on an acre of land in a quiet cul-de-sac in the woods with just 3 other homes, it is perfectly sized for up to 7 guests. The property provides a serene and relaxing environment that is pet-, child-, and book-friendly. A stream runs nearby, and there are lovely woodland cross-country trails within walking distance.
Outdoor adventures abound! Nestled in the White Mountains and NH’s “North Country”, the cabin is a short 2 minute drive north of Franconia Notch State Park, offering excellent hiking throughout for all levels, as well as access to the Appalachian Trail. Swimming and kayaking from the beach at Echo Lake, at the foot of Cannon Mountain, is just 5min from the cabin, and multiple mountain rivers offer rafting adventures. The nearby towns of Littleton, Lincoln, and Sugar Hill offer shopping, day spas, myriad dining options and microbreweries, and even ziplining! Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range are just 30min away, and Storyland is within an hour’s drive to entertain even the smallest of adventurers.
The property is located at the northern end of Franconia Notch, a beautifully scenic all-season destination in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Built in 1970, the Cabin is modern-rustic, with central wood-burning fireplace, updated furniture, new mattresses, linens, appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, grill, outdoor firepit, and its own well for water. The town of Franconia, childhood home of poet Robert Frost, is a small town with a well-stocked local grocery, coffee shop, and the Iron Furnace microbrewery.
With plenty of games, movies, books, and a state-of-the-art Sonos sound system, The Cabin has something for everyone. The second floor is primarily under the eaves, and is a creatively designed use of space that children will adore. Adults may need to stoop a little around corners though! There is no door closure for the children's bedroom. For infants and toddlers, a Pack 'N Play travel crib, 2 baby gates, and plenty of socket protectors are available for their safety. A changing table is also available in the upstairs 2nd (king) bedroom. Easily accessible for older guests as well, there are just 2 steps up to the porch and front door, and the master bedroom and bath offer first-floor living convenience.

The Cabin is easily accessible from Interstate 93, using exit 34C from I-93 northbound or exit 38 from I-93 southbound. 2 hours north of Boston, the nearest airports are Lebanon Airport (LEB, 50.4mi away), Burlington (BTV, 71.9mi), Portland (PWM, 82.5mi), Manchester (MHT, 91.6mi), and Augusta (AUG, 97.5mi).
The town of Littleton, NH, has excellent dining and shopping. We recommend the Littleton Food Coop for high quality and eclectic groceries, and Schilling Brewery and the Freehouse Taproom for dining. The main strip in Littleton has eclectic shopping, sweets shops, and antiques. Walmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Shaw's, Staples, Home Depot, and Lowes are also in Littleton. Alpine Adventures in Lincoln offers zip lining tours. A lovely day spa is available at the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. Ski and snowboarding gear may be rented in any of the many ski shops in either Littleton or Lincoln.
