Welcome to our beautiful paradise in a private cove on Lake Bowen! It is an ideal place for a relaxing, nature-inspired retreat. Great for a family and friends, our cottage is modern and comfortable, with gathering spaces indoors and out, including wrap around deck, fire-pit area, dock, paddle-boards, and kayaks---with an option to rent our 16' pontoon boat to cruise the lake with mountain views and beautiful sunsets. We welcome you enjoy southern hospitality and refresh your spirit! Comfortably accommodating 8 guests (and able to expand to 11 guests with futon & roll-away), it is equipped with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, 2 separate living areas, fully equipped kitchen and kitchenette, adjacent dining area, and beautiful wrap-around deck (with a cozy fire table), all surrounded by beautiful trees--you will feel like you are in a treehouse as you gaze out toward the water. There is also a covered lower patio area, as well as a cozy sunken fire pit area, perfect for hot chocolate and campfire s’mores. The property is on Lake Bowen, with a peaceful cove and private dock. There is a freshwater stream and a peninsula to launch rafts or play on the sandbar. There are 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for your to use. (The paddle boards also have seats to convert to kayaks). The lake is 18 miles long and about a half mile across, and is often smooth as glass, perfect for a day of exploring the beautiful lake. We also have a 6-person pontoon boat available for rent as well. The house is three levels: there is one bedroom/one bathroom on the main level, two bedrooms/one bathroom upstairs, and one bedroom/one bathroom downstairs. The downstairs spaces are extra quiet with the bedroom, bathroom, large living room with a futon and a roll-away bed, and a kitchenette. Each bedroom is tastefully appointed with luxury memory-foam mattresses and comfortable, high quality linens. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully equipped waiting for you. We also have a full coffee service in both the kitchen and kitchenette downstairs, and a Berkey water filter for delicious drinking water for your adventures. We can also provide access to owners condiments, spices & cooking extras upon request. For our limited mobility guests: There are three stairs up to main entrance, and one can enjoy a pleasant stay on main level (kitchen, living room, deck/patio, bedroom and bathroom).
