We loved the location, the facilities were great. Lots of space to spread out and very well maintained in a nice wooded lot. The only difficulty was the lack of response from the host, specifically when the Wi-Fi password did not work. We sent a number of messages which were never returned. That said, it is a wonderful facility and a reasonable price for your retreat. Don't anticipate strong communication, and perhaps the wifi will not be working for you, either. But if you're looking to disconnect for a couple of days this is ideal. Also be sure to bring your own blankets. Though they provide linens and some very thin covers, they are not really sufficient. A small thing, but important to note.

Kirkmont was very responsive and helpful. The lodge was fun and spacious with pleasant hiking trails nearby. Our group loved our stay and would definitely recommend this to another group. Kitchen was well stocked, living space was comfy and the basement was perfect for group games and activities! We will definitely consider visiting again.

Non-functioning internet, no TV, was not able to lock front door. This place is more of a religious camp compound than it is a cabin - this wasn’t made clear in the photos or the reviews.
