I booked a weekend stay here for my husband’s birthday weekend at the end of April and I was soo happy with my decision. The property was so beautiful I was in love. We spent most of our time either right by the water or in the cozy little sun room. It was still pretty cold in April but we made use of the available space heater. The amenities in the home were pretty much as described in the listing. Since we spent most of our time outside and in the sunroom, we did not turn on the fireplace. The front deck includes a cute fire pit so we used that at during the evenings. We did bring our 2 small chihuahuas and the enjoyed the property just as much as we did. Also the town is so beautiful and quaint it was so nice to do an early morning walk with the pups to enjoy the sunrise. Do watch out for ants on the kitchen counter. This isn’t too much of an issue if you do t leave food on the counter. We stored food in the microwave/oven. Love this spot, only regret not staying longer.

We had a lovely getaway weekend! Everything was great and even the second room had a full bed which was super comfy! Jessica was super nice and we were even given the option for early check in! The highlight of our stay was the sunset view by the lake!

The cottage is cute and comfortable. It is a good size for 2 couples. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. The sunrise from the lake is absolutely beautiful and a must-see. For those without a car, it is possible to take the Go Train from Toronto to Allandale station and take an Uber to the cottage (the Uber can range from 40 to 70 CAD, though). The closest store (with an LCBO!) is 40 minutes away by foot, which is pretty doable. We had a great an relaxing time at the cottage :)

My partner, myself and our pup all very much enjoyed our stay! It was cozy, quiet, peaceful, and our dog loved our walks in the snow! VERY much enjoyed our stay!
