The place is centrally located and convenient if you want to have easy access to Stockport’s central district. The house is a little bit less narrow and the stairs steeper than what you see in the photos , which make a long stay like ours less comfortable than what I imagined.

Absolutely awful communication with host, I was mostly ignored. Definitely does not respond within an hour. Most rooms need some tlc and maintenance/functionality issues addressing, especially in the kitchen. There are lots of rules. One asking you to be quiet after a certain time and consider the neighbours which is absolutely fine, except the neighbours don't return the same courtesy. Beds were comfy. Heating was good, the house was warm enough throughout our stay.

Nice home. Suited a family of 5. There is plenty of space. Lots of shops close by.

Really nice house for the price, sleeping arrangements here were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms/kitchen were also very nice. The lounge was a bit small for 8 people and not quite enough seating in there to accommodate those numbers, but it didn't take away from the stay at all. We were approached by a couple shifty types in the evening at the nearby corner shop, but the neighbours all seemed lovely and we felt very secure. During the day the area was also really nice. We visited the market and shops on the Saturday and were all charmed by the old architecture and vibes of Stockport. £16-20 fare for a 20-25 minute Uber into central Manchester was also good value. All in all a great stay.
